Thistle was the first born lamb on Baaad Moon Risin' ranch. He was born 3/29/16 to our Adder & Pansy. Pansy was a breed champion and was stolen from our pasture shortly after a show and soon after Thistle was weaned. Was planning on showing Thistle but when we went to the vet to get his heath cert. for a show we found out that only one testicle had dropped. So-----can't show Thistle and not sure he can breed so he has to go----either sell or freezer camp. Breaks my heart but----. And he is such a good boy and so pretty.

Blueberry (a Harlequin ewe) was purchased along with Strawberry, Raspberry, & Thistle 2. When Blueberry was purchased the seller did not know she was carrying. When Blueberry came off the truck with the others in July, 2018 it was obvious to me that she was pregnant. The seller informed us that she had just given birth 3 mo. ago. Gestation being 5 mo. we thought maybe we had more time. We quickly sheared her and sure enough---a week later she had twin lambs. Very premature. The ewe lamb did not survive 24 hrs. The ram lamb (Spruce) is now 8/3/18 5 wks. old, being bottle fed, medicated, and hanging on. Blueberry also has blue eyes!

Cedar (a Harlequin ram) was purchased as a package deal along with Ash, Gyro, & Almond 2 from a breeder in S. Texas in July, 2018. Photo to come later.

Ivy is a gorgeous Harlequin Ewe purchased from a California breeder whom we sold a breeding pair of Harlequins last year. The ram (our blue eyed Harley Mystic ) bred to one of the breeders other ewes and produced this beautiful ewe. We are SO happy to have her join are breeding program and look forward to lambs from her.

Freckles is a nice little blue eyed spotted Harlequin ram who will join our flock and hopefully produce some beautiful little lambs. We've renamed him Paul 2.
