The Harlequin Sheep For Sale List
One way is to email us at Robindwilliams@sbcgolbal.net and ask to be placed on "The 2018 List". Your name and request will go into the "pool" of buyers. If there are any lambs left after those for whom deposits have been placed, we'll contact you to let you know what is available and ask you to place a 50% deposit within 10 days. If the deposit is not received within that time, your name will go back down to the bottom of the list.
The second way of reserving your lambs is to contact us by phone or email and place a deposit of a minimum of $250 per lamb. This method ensures you have the best chance of getting the color and sex you desire. Lambs will be offered to the list of those with paid deposits in the order in which they are received. The closer you are to the top of the list, the better your choices will be.
You can secure your Harlequin lambs according to the following prices :
- EWE lambs - $1000 minimum each (price subject to fleece coloration and eye color)
- RAM lambs - $900 minimum each (price subject to fleece coloration and eye color)
- Wethered Rams - If you want a wethered ram with fancy spots, you may purchase them at full price. Solid color weathered rams pricing will start at $800 minimum each.
No matter what the color one thing remains the same and that's the great personalities they all exhibit. They are all curious, friendly and seem to genuinely want to form a relationship with you.
Some of the factors that usually influence the price are:
- Blue eyes or partial blue eyes
- Color of fleece. Fancy spots are more expensive than a more singular color. Even the more singularly colored sheep carry the spotting and blue eye genes. Like with all sheep - you never know what you'll get when breeding!
- As with other breeds, ewes are generally more expensive - but a ram with blue eyes will come at a premium.
